HAGIT MOLGAN

Hagit Molgan is a visual artist and a social activist living in Jerusalem. Creating art with found objects, Molgan is a multi- disciplinary artist, working in video art, installation as well as performance art, who by incorporating sound elements and text in her work, seeks to create new meaning to the imagery she works with. Through her work and practice, Molgan raises questions examining the power structure in society, religion, and culture as a way to deconstruct and reconstruct untold and hidden narratives. Her work has been shown in several institutions in Israel and abroad
Molgan graduated from HaMidrasha Art School at Beit Berl College. In addition, she is the recipient of the HBI Award, from Hadassah Brandies Institute, MA
